Busy Blogger

Hello & welcome everyone! I hope that everyone got the invite to our blog & didn't have trouble logging in. I posted earlier today, but I've added a bunch of stuff, so now that post is burried under a bunch of catch up stuff. So leave us a comment if this is your first time at our blog or to say hi.

I must say that going private makes me feel so much more secure. It's like Taylor's unplugged- now we can let loose & tell all. Ha, ha.

Well, when it rains, it pours over here at our blog. I've been busying myself with getting our blog updated today, so be sure to check out all our new posts- it's like 2 pages worth. SHEESH!

Enjoy- we're glad to have you friends & fam.

Party Central- Greg's 30th

Yes, in case you're wondering, it's been party central around here. This past weekend, we hosted a surprise party for Justin's brother- Greg's 30th Birthday!

Still same 'ol Greg- he was completely surprised. It was one of his friends ideas to throw the party, so I helped her pull it all off.

We had each guest bring 30 of something for gifts. He got a lot of treats!

Thirty only comes once- be sure you get all the candles.

My Birthday Surprise! April 5, 2008

Yes, it's true. My 2o's are nearly gone. I just celebrated my 29th birthday! I can't even believe that I will no longer be a 20-something by this time next year. It's just one of those things you have absolutely no control over, so I say Bring it on!
My birthday was...well, busy really. We spent the day out at Justin's parents- watching conference, having lunch, taking family pics, guys went to Priesthood session, etc. Justin's mom got me a cake from DQ and we enjoyed it after the guys got back.

But, check out the surprise that my sweet husband pulled off! It's not all decorated here or anything, but when we got back home that night, I see this sitting in my living room. I've been eyeing it for awhile now to fill up our big, blank wall. Jus was sneaky and had been planning it out for a few days. He got his dad & brothers together to help him get it in.

And just when I thought he'd pull the "I've just been busy with tax season" excuse, he goes and does something like this. And totally redeems himself. Love you Jus!

Happy Birthday to me!

Taylor Family Fun Week- Mar 30- Apr 7, 08

Just when you thought our fun would be over, there's more! Rich & Heidi were here visiting from Maine, so we had a busy week with the whole Taylor clan. We got family pictures, which let me tell you, the bigger a family gets- the more impossible family pictures become. All things considered, I think they look good.

Our busy week consisted of the kids going to see "Horton Hears a Who", Green Canyon, Driggs museum, temple session, guys going to Priesthood session together, watching conference, cousins playing, family talent show, family pictures, many meals and good company.

G&G Taylor doing a special sharing time.

Cousins together for the talent show.

Boy cousins singing "If the Savior Stood Beside Me"

Rylee was lovin' on Zach & their dog Bentley all week.

Some of the Taylor cousins doing conference activity packs.

It was so good to see Rich, Heidi & kids and be able to spend some good quality time with the whole fam damily. Every single person was there.

Rylee's Birthday Part Deux- April 3, 2008

On Rylee's first birthday, she went to our playgroup, Music Makers.

Then went swimming @ Green Canyon with the Taylor side.

Enjoyed cupcakes & cake with her cousins/family after a hard swim

Cupcakes were chocolate as Jace proudly shows.

Time for the dentist after all these sweets. Enjoy it now while you can, I say.

Party Hardy!

Rylee's 1st Birthday! Party- April 2, 2008

Rylee actually had two birthday parties for her 1st birthday. We celebrated with my family (Price side) a day early, since we had family in town and had other plans for the 3rd. We had a Sloppy Joe BBQ, opened gifts and had cake & ice cream. The cousins ran wild and we ate left over Sloppy Joes for the week following.

The cake, her very own cupcake and some pictures we displayed.

Cousins gathered around to sing happy birthday!

Rylee digging in. Happy birthday baby!

Our baby turns one!

Where does the time go? I can't believe that a year has already come and gone. On April 3, our sweet Rylee turned one. This is the first picture that we took of her(born via C-section). I love it, it's like, "I'm here world!"
What a pure joy this child has been. A true blessing. She is so full of personality and spunk and is just sweet and silly. She's got a tender heart, but is also tough as nails (she has to be with that brother of hers).

She was such an enjoyable baby. I remember just being able to sit and hold her forever. I loved her pure sweetness. She's always been happy and content. Hardly cried, slept well- dream baby.

It's funny thinking back now- she was born during tax season, we had just moved here, just finished potty training Jace, we were in the heat of building our house and were living with my parents at the time. It was full of busyness and chaos and I was nearly at my breaking point. And then Heavenly Father sends us this perfect and beautiful little daughter and it was truly a tender mercy. We absolutely love and adore this girl.

Melts her dad's heart.
Sweet!
